I am Amy Thurgood, a Senior Dental Nurse with over 20 years of experience in the dental care field. Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about providing high-quality care to my patients, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout their dental journeys. My role as a dental nurse is not just a job to me, but a vocation where I can make a positive difference in people's lives.

I have had the privilege of working at the same dental practice for more than two decades, during which time I have built strong relationships with both my colleagues and patients. This longevity has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the needs of our patients and refine my skills in providing exceptional care. I take great pride in my ability to create a calm and reassuring environment, particularly for those who may feel anxious about their dental visits.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, I am a naturally caring individual who thrives in helping others. I approach every patient with empathy and respect, ensuring that they are not only treated with professionalism but also with kindness. It is incredibly rewarding to see patients leave our practice feeling more confident in their smiles and their overall dental health.

Outside of work, I enjoy expressing my creativity through making beaded bracelets and necklaces, which allows me to unwind and focus my energy on something artistic. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and taking long walks to relax and connect with nature. These hobbies help me maintain a balanced lifestyle, enabling me to bring my best self to my role as a Senior Dental Nurse every day.
